About Grant

After spending more than 30 years in printing, marketing, graphics, and sales, I'm following my passion for building. My father and I built our house when I was a teenager. While in high school and beyond as an older teen, I worked evenings and weekends installing insulation in new houses, hanging gutters and doing sheet metal work.

In recent years, I've worked on Habitat for Humanity projects and pulled off and put on more roofs than I can count. Much of my work has been volunteer and charity work. I made 6 trips to the New Orleans/Mississippi area for Katrina relief.

Projects include: remodeling bathrooms, kitchens, and finishing basements; ripping up sagging patios and re-laying pavers. I hang pictures and artwork for designers, put in new ceiling fans, new outlets, switches and electrical service. I install new dishwashers, disposers, and chandeliers. I install wood and tile floors, and kitchens, baths, and showers. I install new interior and exterior doors; replace basement windows.

I've been in charge of maintenance and construction at local churches, driven trucks, Cats, excavators and Bobcats. One especially fascinating series of projects included restoration of fine vintage buildings in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and in Illinois. I remodeled a boathouse and completely built out a basement in a new home in Oshkosh.

What do you need? A level and a laser are always at my side. I love tools and have a hi-cube van to haul the tools and myself to the jobsite. Let's get together and see what we can build, fix, or install.
